Natural art solid wood dining table
Nora Table is a minimalist table designed by Copenhagen-based BACD Studio. The broad legs are topped by a dome that presents an arched outline from any Angle and references the arched Windows in the family's mid-19th century Copenhagen villa. The spherical top can be seen and appreciated while sitting or from a distance as the legs remain low and away from the table top. The solid walnut table comfortably accommodates six people, but can be extended to eight to ten. The solid wood sliding mechanism is carefully planned and constructed to provide smooth operation. To ensure that the table will last for many generations, traditional joinery techniques such as wedge dovetails and sliding dovetails are used.
